BLUEPRINT FOR AUTHORITY

IN KEEPING WITH ITS COMMITMENT to localized expertise, The Monegasque™ is pleased to announce the expansion of its editorial board with the appointments of H.R.H. Prince Felix of Luxembourg as Oenology Editor and H.R.H. Prince Michel of Yugoslavia as Editor for Photography & Art. These appointments represent a natural and consistent continuation of our unique editorial model; rather than relying on external commentary, The Monegasque™ prioritizes a “peer-to-peer” architecture where the Principality's cultural and intellectual narratives are shaped by those who actively participate in them.

Prince Felix and Prince Michel join an established editorial circle that includes Helga Piaget (Environment) and H.I.R.H. Archduke Carl Christian of Austria, who serves as Wealth Editor. Together, this group provides a rigorous, multi-dimensional perspective on the interests that define our community - from environmental stewardship to the sophisticated preservation of legacy and capital across generations.

The addition of Prince Felix brings a practical, producer-side perspective to our viticulture coverage. As an active proprietor of an established wine estate in Provence, his role focuses on the intersection of heritage and modern agricultural management. This firsthand experience allows The Monegasque™ to move beyond standard tasting notes, instead examining the technical business and long-standing traditions of Mediterranean winemaking.

Complementing this analytical depth is the direction of Prince Michel. A seasoned photographer and connoisseur of the visual arts, he will now oversee the photographic and artistic expression of The Monegasque™. His appointment coincides with a significant personal project - A Palace That Works, a behind-the-scenes photography book of the Prince of Monaco’s palace. In his new capacity, Prince Michel will curate an aesthetic language for the magazine that emphasizes composition, historical context, and a sense of permanence over transient spectacle.

By integrating these specialized perspectives, The Monegasque™ reinforces its position within the region's unique cultural ecosystem. We welcome Prince Felix and Prince Michel not only for their professional rigor but as trusted members of our community who share a common vision for the Principality. We look forward to the clarity and distinct character this collaborative spirit will bring to our forthcoming issues as we continue to document the life of Monaco from within, among peers and friends.
