Brownies Fit For A Queen
Why Monaco Is The Perfect Place For Luxury Cakes.

GLORIA GIANOGLIO had a lifelong love of chocolate but she could never have imagined that in only one year she’d be able to create Queen of Brownies. It’s a dream she never knew she had: to work alongside her brother, Luigi, as a family and create ultra-gourmet, personalized cakes. This was a total transformation for Gloria—from meetings, offices, business suits, and trips to pastry making.
The siblings complement each other perfectly; she’s mainly in charge of strategy, development, and communication, while he is a professional baker in charge of operations and production. They started out delivering their personalized brownies locally, and that worked so well that they expanded their product range to include cookies, blondies, chocolate, and a new flavor of brownie every month. They’ve also developed packaging to send products all over the world.
Already, they’ve had some exceptional experiences, including a Christmas pop-up at the Printemps shopping center on Boulevard Haussmann in Paris and, in Monaco, a pop-up event at the Hotel de Paris’ Salle Empire. What was most special was the first Chokolashow in May, when not only did Prince Albert taste their brownies, but they were also able to give Princess Gabrielle and Prince Jacques brownies with their names on them.
Supplying the summer cinema—and soon several restaurants—and hosting brownie decorating events at the Metropole shopping center are just the beginning. The next steps are to expand the range of treats and to start selling their brownies in luxury grocery shops all over France. Gloria and Luigi can’t wait to continue developing Queen of Brownies.
