All In The Family
The Dna Of Engines And Cars.

My grandfather, Giovanni, was born and raised in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy. In 1950, he moved to Venezuela as there were little work opportunities in Italy at the time. He started a mechanic workshop and raced in amateur car championships. In 1956, my dad Johnny was born in Caracas. Growing up in his father’s mechanic workshop, he learned and absorbed everything related to engines and cars. And he proceeded in racing motorbikes in the 70s, single seaters up to Formula 1 in the 80s, and Touring Car racing in the 90s. My father was one of the very few and rare drivers who was able to be successful in different branches of motorsports.
I was born in Munich, Germany, mostly because my dad was a BMW works driver at the time and BMW’s headquarter was in Munich. He was spending quite a lot of time in that area and, given that my mom was also born in Germany (from Italian roots), my parents decided that Munich would be a great place to start a family.
Since I was a little kid, my dad Johnny, who was still actively racing at the time, has been a massive influence on me and my half-brother Johnny (yes…same name as my dad). At the age of 3, I started “complaining” to my parents that I also wanted to drive and on my fourth birthday I received a go-kart. I started driving for fun, and very soon realized that it was my biggest passion. At the age of 7, I got into karting competitions, and moved to higher categories and championships. At the age of 14, it was time to move to something faster and I started competing in single-seater racing. Motorsport is a complicated, expensive and politically tough business, and after a couple of years in single-seaters, I was forced to move to Grand Touring (GT) car racing, meaning the ultimate goal was no longer Formula 1, but other series like the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, 24 Hours of Daytona, and various other GT races around the world.
I started working and racing for Lamborghini in 2017, and am still in the Lamborghini family as the Research and Development of Lamborghini Road and Racing Cars. I also work as an Instructor for Lamborghini Events for driving experiences worldwide. I also have the opportunity, and still do, to race and compete. In 2019 I moved to Monaco. My brother Johnny was already well settled in the Principality. He founded STARS Luxury Group. We specialize in various luxury fields which includes: supercar sales, various services around cars, real estate, aviation and, what I am taking care of, yachts. The yachting company (STARS Yachting) has been growing since we founded it. We are specialized in yacht sales and charters, and are moving into management as well. I would like to continue to develop the company, together with car racing competitions.
I love living in Monaco. I feel that this is my place, my home, and I couldn’t see myself living anywhere else. I am still very young, but potentially I could imagine myself living here for the rest of my life. I am surrounded by a community that shares the same passion as I do: yachting and motor racing.
